Empowering Future Digital Leaders: MindsIT Seminar on Generative AI at ISEP

We conducted a comprehensive seminar for final-year Bachelor students at ISEP Paris. This event aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands in the digital realm, specifically focusing on the architectures and skills needed for Generative AI in web and mobile applications. The seminar provided students with insights into cutting-edge technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application, offering practical advice and fostering an understanding of real-world challenges and opportunities in digital engineering and innovation. Generative AI creates new content (text, image, music, code) by learning patterns from massive datasets.

• Designed and delivered  seminar curriculum tailored for final-year bachelor students.
• Covered key aspects of Generative AI, including its definition, underlying technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLMs.
• Explored different Generative AI integration approaches: Foundation LLM API, Self-hosted LLM, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM Fine-tuning, and Model Training on custom data.
• Discussed the architectures, pros, and cons of each integration method, along with the necessary skills for implementation.
• Included interactive sessions on topics like prompt engineering, a crucial skill for interacting with LLMs.
• Highlighted the main factors driving the Generative AI revolution, such as innovation in AI architectures, big data availability, and advancements in hardware.
• Addressed future challenges for Generative AI, including ethical concerns, data privacy, and scalability.
• Provided practical examples and insights relevant to integrating AI into web and mobile applications.
